On Mother’s Day
Marking a first Mother’s Day and the women who shape it
Looking ahead to this weekend, this Mother’s Day feels especially meaningful as I celebrate my first as a mother. It’s been a season of learning and soaking in these early days with our baby boy.
We’re keeping things simple this year… likely enjoying the spring weather (my favorite time of year in New York), a walk in the park, and time at home with my favorite boys: Brandon, baby, and Moose. A quiet pause before we head out with baby in-tow for our first big wedding production of the season in Texas! More on that soon.

I’m also thinking of my own mother, whose steady presence and example have shaped so much of how I approach both life and work. So grateful to have this snap from Corbin Gurkin to remember this special time together.
And, as always, this time of year brings our wonderful MOBs and MOGs to mind. It’s such a privilege to get to know these women and celebrate alongside them. Whether boldly walking their children down the aisle, switching things up and sharing a mother-daughter dance, supporting them through the planning process, or balancing full lives and impressive careers while showing up every step of the way, we are lucky to know each and every one.

And in-lieu of Sunday Saves shopping this week, I’m sharing my faves to gift (year-round!)
Westman Atelier / My go-to glow. I’ve reordered the shade “Nectar” more times than I can count.
Kassatax x Lewis Miller Floral Tote / Every lady should have this in their life for bodega blooms!
Julia B. Casa / My go-to for beautifully embroidered linens. I have this exact set.
If Only If Nightgown / I’ve been living in this!
Aerin Perfume / A forever go-to gift.
Roxanne Assoulin Happy Cords Charm Necklaces / A fun gift for moms — punchy way to wear little one’s initial
Matouk Eye Mask / A little luxury for rest and relaxation.
Wishing a very happy Mother’s Day to all!
Xx, Augusta
